Winnie the Pooh | Artmas 2015

– December 17 –

Today we are taking a look at one illustration and one painting, both of which feature Winnie the Pooh. I want us to take a journey back to childhood and remember the curiosity and innocent joy that made Christmastime feel magical.

Gonzalez, Rodel. Playful Afternoon. Web. 7 Nov. 2015. http://theartofrodelgonzalez.com/product/playful-afternoon/.

*N O T E : The illustration comes from The Pooh Story Book, specifically the first chapter titled In Which A House is Built at Pooh Corner for Eeyore. It took me three hours to find this information!!

Going along with the childhood theme, enjoy the song Christmas Like a Child by Third Day:

“I want to feel Christmas, how it used to be
With all of its wonder falling on me
This season has felt so empty, oh, for quite a while
I want to feel Christmas like a child”

8 days until Christmas…
