Today I am spotlighting Alexey Kljatov, a photographer who produced a project that visually supports the belief that no two snowflakes are alike. It would be hard for me to explain his process so I will post a link to his article instead. I will, however, give you a few hints. He did not simply take a digital camera and shoot snowflakes; he had to build a camera suitable for his unique project. The entire process consisted of a digital camera, screws, various lenses and parts, wood, tape, fabric, a stool, a piece of glass, and a flashlight. Here is the full article: http://chaoticmind75.blogspot.ru/2013/08/my-technique-for-snowflakes-shooting.html

This project reminds me of two quotes:

ā€œI can see how it might be possible for a man to look down upon the earth and be an atheist, but I cannot conceive how a man could look up into the heavens and say there is no God.ā€
– Abraham Lincoln

“A snowflake is one of God’s most fragile creations, but look what they can do when they stick together.” – Anonymous

That is all for now. Stay tuned for some exciting news…
